Hello there, To solve this week's challenge I started by noting down all the requirements and scenarios to cover the majority of the target audience. Afterward, I had done quick wireframing to get an overview of the design. For the final design, I wanted to try something new, and I was fascinated by motion design. After watching some of the videos, I decided to not design a static UI and implement motion into my final design. So here is the final design prototype in form of a gif. You can view a high-resolution video of the prototype using this link - https://tinyurl.com/ytsyk648
While selecting a target currency, I keep it a multi-currency selection. The reason behind this is that many countries have more than one national currency so there can be scenarios where users want to convert into more than one target currency.
To Enter the base currency, the user can manually input the values or there is a feature of voice input for the ease of users. I kept some of the most commonly used prices as suggestions so that users can enter the input in just one or two taps.
All the conversions will be shown in the recent conversions section so that the user can recall any of the past conversions rather than converting again. Users can remove or pin any specific conversion according to their use case.
