I started the research by asking what needs I have as a restaurant manager, what types of food I have, quantities and when is it even appropriate for me to have them come take it from me, how do I know when I have extra food left? Closing hours should be taken into account. Then I tried to understand how I, as an association manager, fits my needs as well. Maybe there are certain types of food that I prefer not to have. If I run an association for the elderly and I know they don't have many teeth or they don't have strong enough teeth, I won't give them a type of food that is difficult to chew. Maybe I don't have a car at the moment and I would prefer a restaurant within a certain radius so that I can send someone there on foot. In conclusion, I really enjoyed working on this challenge :)

Hi Shir, I really like the idea that you are very considerate in every aspects. 1. Considering that you can donate food in kgs/ or in number of plates. 2. Adding the type of food you are donating. 3. Considering the special Properties of food. 4. Considering time range and exact time aswell. 5. Adding a message while donating food is very thoughtfull. Things that could have been better: 1. The scenario where there is no connection found in near by location. Can we have something in that case. Because then anyway the food will get wasted. I just want to know your thoughts on it. Thanks and Please do review my submission.
Give single-select rather than giving multi-select - Since Combining dairy with vegan or meat with a vegan can narrow down the choice for the charity since it may create an exception based on the age group they are serving. Adding categorization(MULTI SELECT) makes it too specific and narrow down that's what I mean. Rather create 3 individual posts based on the category. Rest is good work :)
First of all, thank you for your feedback, and your questions :) As you can see, there is a multi-selections option for the food types (it is written below the header). Exactly! some people have food perforations due to religion or other reasons, like not eating dairy with meat together or some other preferences. The Intention was to connect people who ask for certain kinds of food with people who need it. In my vision, the offering side will publish its offer, and the charities in need around it will be able to accept and complete the connection. The food business is very immediate, and this platform's goal is to allow quick connections to provide all of the needs of both sides in the best way.
Food categorization is a bit complex here what is the food that has a combination of dairy and meat? So restaurants can just add the extra (I won't say leftover :)) food over the app as post and it depends on the charity whether to accept it or not based on the type of age group they are serving!
