CleanWise is an app that connects the user to his/her cleaning device through a wifi connection. It allows users to clean with ease and at their own convenience, monitor the cleaning process on other devices in the activity page, and keep record of all cleaning activities in the history page. I made my design minimal and tried to reduce inclusion of extra and unnecessary steps making it easy to navigate and straight to the point. Hey Zainab, I would like to give you few suggestion: First screen or the splash screen -Logo is getting merged with the background, try to increase the contrast between the elements. - The fonts of the logo seem very quirky and not very professional. Logo builds the overall image of the app. Choose the fonts meticulously. - The font size of the text written below seems to be very small. Try to avoid using long sentences as the user is here just for few seconds. Even if you are adding text try to keep it center aligned as your logo is center aligned. Home screen: - Profile picture seems to be very big, try to reduce it's size. - Start cleaning, stop etc seems like filter or selection options and not the primary action buttons because of the size of button and how they are placed. Start and pause/ resume cleaning should be a single button because resume makes no sense if the cleaning was not started at all. - Start cleaning text and the background has very low contrast try to use white fonts instead. - Connect your device should be part on onboarding process and should not be displayed no the home screen as all the other features makes no sense till the app is connected to the device. - How can you set the cleaning time by from and to. There should just be a start time as different spaces might take different durations to clean the area. There should also be an option to schedule the cleaning. - Try to keep elements in the sequence of how the user views the information to take action. Like you have added start cleaning button at the top and schedule time at the bottom. That is breaking the user flow. - Try to keep home screen first in the bottom navigation bar as users are used to seeming that first. Cleaning history - There is lot of space between the sub text "view and.." recent which can be reduced. - Under recent there should be heading like date, time of cleaning schedule etc. Right now I don't understand it clearly. The brief stated that you want to see each room's cleaning history. It would have been better if you had categorised it in term of rooms. - How do I see information prior to last month, here I will be just able to see last year's information. I also see that you have not changed the dates, time and duration in recent, last month and last year. Try to add realistic data. Activity - There is a lot of space after "track your.." and "work in progress". Even the test size is too small to be able to read. - What do you mean by cleaning are is progress? If the 70% area is covered I clearly know 30% area is left, there is no need to add information which means the same. - Try to maintain font hierarchy. Time track, status font size and weight are more then the work in progress heading. - Area covered, time track and status are all similar information try to keep that information closer so that user gets all the information at the glance. - Try and add names of the room in the floor plan. Add flow place is a action button or heading, it is confusing. Try to avoid using colors in the heading when the text is not clickable. You have used blue is activity text which is not clickable. - Also there needs to be a stop/ pause cleaning option in the activity.
