I thought deeply about the problem and solutions at hand. Drew up wireframes and did some competitive analysis. I also asked potential users what they would expect to see and how this app could benefit from them knowing if certain resources were depleting in their local area. Screen 1: First Time user view. Logo presentation and sign up CTA Screen 2: This home page features two ways to funnel users to data. A user can either explore via a natural resource type or they can search for a specific location. This screen always provide a user with several articles to carousel through that pertain to Natural Resource scarcity. Screen 3: The user searched their local area. Results for each Natural Resource are presented as a user carousels through the natural resources available in their area. Data pertaining to that natural resource is showcased below. Screen 4: The user drilled into a specific data set found on the previous page. This tertiary page provides resources to better equip the user through a depleted subset of the resource. In this case, showcasing the price of petrol in local gas stations offers the user a financial benefit to save money during a time of rising petrol ( GAS ) inflation.
