I came up with several solutions after three days of research and brainstorming on the subject, and after another three days, I decided on this one. This solution is an extension of the firefighter notification issue. 1.) The main feature of the app is that it quickly sends alerts to local authorities (Fire Brigade, Municipal Corporation, Police Station, Ambulance, etc.) and people by sharing photographs and location. Alerts can be issued for forest fires, neighbourhood fires, snow storms, flooding, and other natural disasters. 2.) This App can provide a global and local alert feed so that everyone is aware of the issues and can donate and volunteer to aid others who are trapped in these situations of disaster. 3.) The alert map shows all of the alert locations and affected locations near you so that you can avoid going there. (Not included in the designs) I tried to keep the app as simple as possible so that users could focus on the important aspects. All of the important buttons (CTAs) are placed prominently so that there is no unnecessary learning curve while using the app. It's been a lot of fun working on this design challenge, and your input is extremely helpful in allowing me to continue creating great designs.
