For this week's challenge, the problem was pretty simple and so should be the solution. The main features of the smart fridge should be : 1. Displaying grocery items with their remaining expiry period, highlighting the ones which are just about to get expired to the user. 2. Tell whether an item that a user has picked out of the fridge is fresh or has expired. 3. Add more items with their expiry dates as the user buys new groceries every day. Three simple sub-problems have been solved by three screens, one pertaining to each function. The function of each screen is intuitively clear from the simple UI and UX flow of the screens Along with the main problem, the screens take into account micro UX problems like reducing the time taken to make a choice by division of long list into categories, quickly scanning long list with the help of familiar colours and simplifying the UI by only having those buttons which are immediately required by the user for utilising each of the intended functions. Hope you liked my approach to this week's problem, feedback is highly appreciated.
