Hey, I must say your design is amazing😃. I really liked the colors you chose. Here is my feedback on your submission: You could have tried different icons for comments. All White Spaces should be consistent. Shadows are not visible on the profile page. Give more value to them. It looks like all are one question/post. ->There is a lot of space between the forms and the button on the Sign in & sign up page. -> Recovery password is a link button now so why that is different from other link buttons? -> Add lines between the posts and try some different tags like pinned, trending, etc. -> You have kept the show menu icon horizontal somewhere & vertical somewhere -> If you have given the Read More link button then you have to write the less link button too. ->You should have shown an in-active state for upvote and downvote. How can we see if we don't vote then how will that upvote/downvote button look? Upvote and Downvote Buttons could be a little bigger. ->Remove the stroke from the profile avatar. It Looks odd. ->All Icons should be consistent. To keep things consistent, make sure they all share the same weight and are either filled or outlined. Thanks.

~From Ux perspective your solution justifies users requirement and problem statement. ~Feature for boosting questions responses is value added also feature to - Save as draft is useful. ~I really like the decent color tones used overall good approach and thought process. ~like the flash screen design🙂

Well, I would say, white text over the blue gradient is not clearly visible. The rating part for questions is not needed rather this can be shown for answers you can show the comment count, upvote count, and other actions. Again prominent action CTA is needed, like adding a photo or attaching a file rest of the button is not readable. The answers screen it’s too confusing, whether it’s answers to questions given by the user or answers to questions raised by the user. Need a proper title. Can add some more screenshot or figmalink

Points for improvement. 1.The floating black add button is out of natural zones for thumb reach. You can either keep that in centre. Since this is frequently used action. 2.For Notifications the White space is creating attention and disturbing layout. They should be distinct from text color 3. Used of consistent components - for profile avatar on community timeline. 4. Digital giddies team tab name is questions, has floating add button what is the use of that add button or profile page. 5.Text Color consistency has to be followed - current notifications text Color differs and not legible. 6. 2 different square images are shown over right side modal. They look bit weard ? I couldn’t find their possible use case. 7. Your Primary Secondary accent Colors all are same as basic font colors. Your layout Color contrast composition has to be balanced for reducing intellectual load and improvised visual perception.

I believe UI is also important as UX. UI increases user involvement. Users' eyes need beautiful things rather than UX. They don't know how it was made, we only know how we have solved the problems for their better recognition, and how they use that more effectively. Hey, Charmi I must say, your design is very nice😃. You chose the black color that's nice but have to keep in mind the color theory. Small mistakes always matter to me. So here is my feedback on your submission: Firstly, the challenge was a questionnaire app where all your questions get an answer, not a social media app. And you have copied the whole Twitter app but it's ok. Secondly, Typography could have been better. Give space between the texts and the lines. I noticed that on the home screen the heading is bigger as compared to other headings. In some screens, you have kept the user name right to the account name but in one screen you have kept the user name below. So maintain consistency. You have kept the user name, which doesn't seem necessary to keep. just keep your account name and your designation -> In creating a question page, not required the camera & images section as you have already added below. -> On the home page, what's the required of 3 profile icons? see one is your logo, second is your profile, and third is again a profile icon. Users will be confused about which one they will click right. I didn't get that RD profile icon. For better understanding, either you can add a menu icon to replace the rd icon or you can remove the logo. Add lines between the posts as you added on the notification page. That's it. Thank you.

Exactly Vaishnavi. I agree, link CTA has to be different. Secondly, your are telling upvotes and downvotes are not appearing to be clickable right. Did you check the questions & answers page? You will see the difference between the upvote and downvote icon color. Thanks

Hey Sushrita, For upvote and downvote color as in.. ur action icon are not appearing to be clickable. Anything that performs some action has distinct shades of your primary action color. Currently your actions color are same as text Color. So I mean you can use different hues of your primary action Color like what QUORA follows color tones for snippet icons actions - just an example I gave. You don’t have to use button instead of icons just need properly define action Colors. Your default icon state doesn’t provide that.

Hey, Vaishnavi I appreciate your first feedback. Yeah, the link CTA and the Text Color have to be different. I agree with your words. Secondly, you told me that the upvote, downvote, and share icons, are in the read-only format right, see if we use different colors for that, then it will be completely colorful. If we use buttons instead of icons then it will become very congested. first of all that would not look good visually. Secondly, users will not be able to use it. As We all use social media, you can see their icons and actions as references. When the action happens, the color changes right so we have to show a default state which I have shown on the home page. I have shown an action state too you can see on the questions and answers page. If I upvote then the color of the icon will change otherwise that will not. Same for downvoting. I got your point Vaishnavi but we have to show an action state, an inactive state, and an active/default state. In the second feedback, you told posting questions is the same as asking questions no, you didn't understand that. That is not posting questions, let me clarify. In that section, you can post anything like memes, photos, polls, and your blogging video like what other social media platforms are providing. I just showed a glimpse of that. Nice attempt for your very first challenge! Points for improvement 1.Action colors should be consistently followed overall layout. The Text Color and Action Color for question snippets has to be different. Currently, there’s issues with affordance for actions like - upvote downvote share, it seems they are read only. Also, So their is issue with text action CTA / link CTA affordances you can find this on profile page too, in prototype you have made “answer” clickable but it seems like read only. 2.Also ask question and post are two CTA I found on your community . Do the function same .. posting questions is same as asking question. So they have same meaning.

1.Using illustration for aesthetic is good , but when you are design for mobile, Real Estate is very crucial. So if you consider the timeline more than half of the mobile screen is equipped with search And other component elements which can be manage over interaction utiling space effectively. 2.The filter region and time makes less sense need to improve over them by using more meaningful labels. 3.Their issue with components framing and related layout feed which is vital part has gone too bellow user need to scroll every time to see the feed. 4.Text red Color for downvote seems same as primary action Color. use of RGB Color’s in same row makes it too loud and high contrast. 5.Liked heart button over blue background. Color Contrast ratio is imbalanced all over layout 6.Every Color has meaning ….. so certified expert badge and liked post Color both same. What does that mean. Eithe make them distinct. Good points- features are good 👍 but need to fix ui elements and over all layout effectively considering mobile Real Estate Nice attempt.

For better visibility: Observe others' submissions like how they represent their designs. You have done an excellent job on colour, type and layout. I would suggest some work on the iconography of the navbar though. 1. Icons could have the theme colour when selected instead of making them bold/filled. 2. Make them simpler to understand if you are not mentioning what they do, for example, the 2nd icon is for the community I believe but it is not clear at first glance. 3. A simple arrow would be enough for the back button in the top bar to suggest the back. Overall, I really like your design except for a few tweaks here and there!

Hey krisna Loved that asking any kind of question is just one click away. Although, creating a new question section could have been given some more emphasis. I was wondering, how do you see what questions the community has asked? Is there a feed sort of a thing? Don't think you covered that part of the solution. I also feel that navigation could be a problem in the app. A bottom navigation bar could have made a huge difference and you could have then built a more holistic solution👍🏻

Hey Amizerio, I would like to give few suggestions: - Try to place screens in the sequence of how you are going to open them, that will help the viewer understand the design more clearly. - A button navigation bar would be very helpful to switch between multiple actions easily. - The way use have used dark green card and light green button it is really difficult to focus on the content and action buttons. - White text on light green button has very less visibility. Onboarding screen - Line height is too much in the text "ask a question...." Reply to question screen - It feels like an overload of elements on the screen. If you would have used a slightly lighter tone of black in the question and answer cards. It would make it much more easier to understand in which sequence user should look at the information. - In answers very less text is visible. You can use slightly smaller fonts with less line height to make more content visible. - Fonts of view more should be smaller than fonts used in the answers and that information is less important than the actual answer. View more text should be green to indicate it is clickable. -Are this your answers or other's answer it is not very clear. Try to use different images to indicate different users. Name of the who has answers and when did they answer is missing. Ask a question screen - Profile icon should be placed slightly toward right to maintain consistent padding. -Ask a question is taking up a lot of space because of which users can look at very less questions. That space can be reduced. - Ask a question is a button where you click and it takes you to the next screen where you can enter question which you want to post or is it the space where you can directly write a question? - There is a lot of space between "Popular questions" and "What are the best..." card. Try to reduce space. - In "Popular questions" there should a profile picture of who has posted this and the font size of "1200 answers" is too small. Hamburger menu screen - How did the user open that menu when user was on the onboarding screen? - Why is the onboarding screen sitting on the top of hamburger menu area? It is looking weird and adding unnecessary elements. Menu can be opened on an overlay of screens or the entire screen can move towards right instead of making the entire screen smaller.

Hey prathamesh. I liked the simple onboarding process for the app. Knowing preferences of the user so that curated, personalised content can be feeded is a great idea. 1 change in the "for you" section I would give is that you can put tags in the questions asked. That way before even reading the question the user can know what topic is the question related to. No of much use for 1-2liner question but will come in handy when people ask bigger questions. UI can be a bit more interesting. Try to incorporate more colors, style the elements more. Take inspiration from dribbble. This solution of yours has a lot of room for improvement.

Hey Kunal, Overall UI looks really neat and clean but you have not shown sufficient screens to understand the solution to the complete problem statement. How to post a question and how will the answers look. How will the users search for relevant questions? How will the answers' UI look when you open it? If there is a poll feature then along with percentage it should also say how many people responded to it. Also how will poll feature look on the person's screen who is answer it? You can do a great job but try show more details about the solution.

Hey Kresena, I liked your overall idea of being able to add a thought like a story kind of thing and your friends can reply to it. There is a lot of scope of improvement, I would like to give some suggestions: - How can you see other people's the posted question? That flow is missing. - There is no left and right padding on any of the screen, padding is very important to make the screens look breathable. Screen 1: - There is a lot of empty space at the top before "general","relationship" etc. which is giving me a feeling of something is missing. How are this categories used and how is the category listed when the question is actually posted? - Red color of the card is too loud and it is grabbing a lot of attention, it is diverting the focus from text. Try to keep background subtle so that user can focus on the information which is important. -What does "Stranger" in the card mean? - Why does it say "card" at the bottom? What does it signify,?Shouldn't it say something like "post a question" or "create" Screen 2: - It would be better if there was some heading at the top. - If these are the replies that you gave got, shouldn't it say how is the person who has responded and when did they respond? - Instead of showing big card, you can instead show them as messages or customise the card's size as per message so that users can read more messages at a time. - How will the user see responses in case they have posted multiple questions at a time? Screen 3 -How will I reach this screen?

Hey, I would like to give you a few suggestions: User flow POV What you have designed seems like a questionnaire that you have to send it to multiple users to fill like google questionnaire. It would have been better if you had shown home screen or the screen where users are going to see to answer them. How do you see answers if you have posted multiple questions, that flow is also not clear. UI POV - Avoid using serif fonts because it hinders readability. - In bottom navigation bar, it's not very clear what the 3rd icon means. Add names to the icons or when you are using icons without names the icon should be well know. The selected icon looks too big and is taking up a lot of space. Align icons in the center of circle, you can avoid using circle around the ones that are not selected as it is adding elements unnecessarily. - The gradient used in all the screens is not interacting with the overall theme of the design. -Try to use consistent fonts, in 4th screen "Ranjith Karige" fonts is different than all the other fonts used in the app. - Try to maintain fonts hierarchy, heading font size used is not consistent through the screens even sub text sizes are different. - At some places the fonts are not readable. In 2nd screen, line user "discover topics", text inside the box and text in chips is not readable. - Left and right overall padding in the all the screens is different. Padding in screen 1 and 2 is more than screen 3 & 4. - Try to keep rounding around the corner of the text box same, in 4th screen " Your last question" box and "Most recent replies" box are not same. Screen POV Screen 1 -Why is there a emoji in top right corner. It is is looking weird and emoji is not looking connected. - The sub-text or the tag line is going out of the logo area, which is making it look imbalanced. - Why does create account card have glass morphism kind of effect when it is not used anywhere else. - There is very less space between email and box under it. Try to add some title text "enter your email" to make it more informative and clear. - "Login" and "Sign up" feels like they are either or options that can be performed by entering email and password. Which is not really true, login should be segregated with clear information like "if already registered login". Screen 2 - How will search work here? Search button looks disabled because of the shade of grey used at the top of like grey background. Try to use a darker shade of grey or you can also use search icon. - Text in the chip is not centrally aligned width wise. - You can add slight rounding in the box and make fill color of the box same as background. The shade currently used makes the overall UI look dull and old. Screen 3 - The rounded black line under Q & A is too dark and grabbing a lot of attention try to used lighter color to make it subtle. - The purpose of box under the "Publish" button is not very clear. - Save text is not centrally aligned. Even the usage of secondary button is not consistent. "Later" button in screen 2 does not have a box around it. Screen 4 - Instead of edit share and delete text, you should have used icons. - Why is like in first reply different from second reply. Try to be more consistent. - View more is not a primary button or CTA. it should not be highlighted this much. There is a lot of scope growth and learning, refer https://m2.material.io/. Try to build a design theme before you start designing screen that will help you a lot with consistency of design.

Hey Nirupama I found your solution to be a bit confusing. I had to struggle to know that the 3rd screen is the full thread view of the post. Perhaps, you could have done it the linkedin way, highlighting who is the author of the post. Also, I apart from browsing through questions from the people, I would have loved to see the nitty gritties of the flow for asking a question. I know the last screen is for that, but it doesn't quite satisfy me. You can also choose better, professional or friendlier color for the app. Pink gave me a feel of a children's app which I think is not the problem you're trying to solve.
