Chore Tracking Challenge

Hello everyone. This is a Chore Tracking Challenge. there are two type phase, First is parent side and second is kids side. In parent side you can track all chores given to the kids and also visit kids or any profile as a admin. Parent can add chores and allot a reward based on category and points. Secondly, there is kids side, kids can claimed reward based on points. Also kids has to upload a photo if required. There are many more which I can add but that are not available enough space. Good day people! Here is my solution to this week's challenge, I tried to keep it simple and easy to use. In this, you can assign tasks and confirm when your child completes and earn points. You can set reward goals to reward them after completing some points milestone and buy them the gift they've always wanted. This way we can encourage our kids to do the chores until it becomes their natural habit to do it. What do you think of this? How it can be improved? Let me know your valuable feedback :)

The concept of this app mainly works based on a real image of the task done by the tween, Eyeon should be installed on both the devices such as parents and their wards. As it is a special child-based app we decided to make the ingress userfriendly and at the same time secured with fingerprint tech. From the parent perspective of the app, a parent could set chores and Tasks with a few simple ad quick steps, in-app slides are specially designed with a headline, a special note, and a time till when it should be done with a quick on-off slider Button, a parent could add several Tasks with additional slides, Eyeon will send Notification according to its time management to the wards mobile with a pop up of "Snooze & Upload Task Image", as soon as child uploads the image Parent will get notified with the "view" pop-up, with eyeOn Parents could rate the task with the friendly emoji-based rating system, and it will show the scores of there wards as per when they need to see in leaderboard section, which will eventually be the best of both worlds as a parent could reward accordingly!

Initially, I proceeded by designing an onboarding page that informs the user about the application's functionality. After completing the registration process, the user must add his or her child to the app database; as a result, I built a 'Create New Profile' screen for the child, where the user can choose the default profile photo. After completing onboarding, registration, and registering the Child, the User can choose from a list of predefined Daily Chores to use it in the future. When an user first visits the home page, he is prompted with a search box that allows him to navigate to the location he desires. The essential information about the children and their assigned duties may be found on the home screen, where we can choose between the ongoing and completed tasks.When the user wishes to update the information of the  task, he proceeds to the DETAILS screen, where he may examine all of the details, add a comment, and remind the child about the task. The app also offers a calendar section where you can see the children's current and forthcoming tasks. The Parent can reward his child for finishing the assignment on the final screen. Here's my view on the  UI/ UX problem.

Hello all, here's my submission for this week's challenge. This is my 3rd challenge I am participating in. It was not an easy job to ideate & prototype screens in such a limited time period, as the app is for children and it requires hell lot of user research. Still, I managed to do some secondary research and looked for similar apps. I broke down the problem statement into two: 1st When I give my kids chores, I want to be able to track the tasks and 2nd I can reward them based on performance. So 1st for tracking the chores, I assumed that the parents were not in their home, I added a feature of messaging and sending confirmation images, videos, etc. And for the 2nd problem statement I added the features of giving points & scores. Each point has some value (in terms of real money). The child can set their goal in terms of points accordingly and after completing the goal their points can be redeemed into real money. Unfortunately, I didn’t make screens of redemption (as that’s not the problem statement for now), I am still iterating on it. I got some insights that I should also have added an option of reward not only in terms of money, but also in terms of other stuff, and in the reward section I could have added levels & badges for children to make the chores more exciting for them. These all features are under iteration & will come very soon, as this is my design for now. I hope you like it and any feedback is much appreciated!

I started to think about what my parents would want to see when they give me a task, that is progress, so most of the progress is displayed in the application. Now, the other differentiating factor is if I have more kids how would I reward someone highly, for this the leaderboard is introduced, lastly to add a new task a feature is also provided

For this week's challenge, I'm thinking about Chore/task app from a parent perspective where they could assign tasks to their children and micromanage their progress remotely. So parents can assign chores, choose the assignee, see ongoing and upcoming tasks during the day and see tag logs where the assignee report that they completed their chores, and even upload video or pictures as proof of their work. This will help parents who are not in a location able to track their children's work.

Hi there, For this week's challenge, I started with the requirement gathering. I listed all the requirements and features which will help parents to track the tasks which are given to their kids. Afterward, I created low fidelity wireframe to get an overview of the design of the features. At last, I came up with this design. I design the reward-based system for task completion. After a certain number of reward points, a kid can complete a level and earn specific money or gifts. 1) The home screen (first screen) contains an overview of everything. The profile section contains the details regarding the children. You can add a new kid by clicking on the '+' icon. Next, recent tasks contain all the given tasks as well as their status. The level section displays all the levels which are created by the parents. There are two action buttons on the home screen. The 'create task' generates a new task and the 'add level' create new levels. 2) When the parent clicks on the view task, they will land on this screen. It contains all the task details and the task status change details. A completed task needs a confirmation from the parent and the "confirm now" button will help to confirm the completion of a given task. 3) When parents confirm the task completion, they can evaluate the task performance, and based on it they can give the reward points. For example, 80% of the task performance evaluation will give 20 reward points to the kid for a 25 reward points task. 4) When the parent clicks on a specific profile, they will land on this screen. It displays the analysis of all the tasks, the kid's current level, and the total reward points that kid earned. It also shows the past tasks which are given to the respective kid. 5) When a parent wants to create a new task button from the home page, this screen will be shown up. It contains all the necessary form fields to create and assign a new task to the kids. So, this is all about this week's design solution. Let me know your suggestion and feedback. Thank you.

I started the UX flow by understanding the parent's needs (giving tasks and tracking them) and began iterating different methods of providing the task and setting the rewards. I then broke them down and integrated tasks and rewards with categories, reminders, etc. I came up with an app design that works around 3 simple icons - stars (allowed per task), tick (no of. task) and trophy (reward based on no. of stars and ticks). The pages were designed accordingly to take the user through the app.

I created a design to assist parents in keeping track of the duties they assign to their children, evaluating their performance throughout those activities, and picking a winner for incentives.

This is my first crowwwn challenge. Any feedback is highly appreciated. First of all, I figured that there would be 2 points of view: The parent's and the kid's. Therefore, they'd have to register individually. Next, I tried my hardest to put myself in the user's shoes, and when I did that, I came up with their pain points. For the parents, it's about tracking and verifying if the chore they've given to their kid has been completed. For the kids, it's about having their parents believe that they've finished doing the chore. After recognizing this, I made a user journey map for both the parent and kid. For the parent it goes like this: 1. Register. 2. Connect with kid's account to give chores. 3. Give chores to my kid. Specify what must be done, when is the deadline, how often it should be done, image proof, and reward after task completion. 4. Wait for my kid to send a notification about the chore completion. As the kid: 1. Register 2. Accept parent connect request. 3. View the chore given by my parent 4. Perform the chore and send an image proof to my parent that the chore has been completed. (If applicable) 5. Wait for parent to accept task and send reward. (If applicable) The parent is given 3 options when giving a chore regarding images: Either the parent can require an image proof, not require an image proof, or make it optional. Also, the parent can reject the task with or without an explanation. I was able to think of 2 kinds of rewards. The first is cash via bank transfer for kids/teens with bank accounts and a custom message for rewards unrelated to money (Example reward - sleepover with your friends) The performance is shown as a graph bar and it tells the parent how many tasks have been completed by their kid weekly. Hi everyone, In this week's challenge I created a simple UX design where user's can assign and track chores and reward thier childern according to the points earned by them by completing daily chores. User's can customize thier app by adding chores, notes, points, rewards. I would like to get more feedback so I can learn and improve and thank you crown for this wonderful platform.

So for this week’s challenge, I created a flow which goes like this… Add Tasks > Rate Them when Completed > Get rewards accordingly. As a Parent, you can add tasks with a single click. You can track them easily on the home screen. After any task gets completed, you click on the checkbox and a rate this task screen will pop up. Rate the task based on how well it was done. When all the tasks for a day gets done, based on ratings you gave, a reward will be displayed. Rewards can be pre-set in the settings based on Stars. For e.g. 4 stars = Ice cream, 5 stars = 1 hr. of Video Game, etc. So using this app, a parent can not only add and track chores given to the kids, but also what to give as a reward is also been taken care of. Hello everyone, I researched which chores cater to which age group for this design challenge and which rewards can be given to those specific age groups. So accordingly, I've designed this app for age groups 1-5. Based on that, I came up with seven screens. The 3rd screen is about the task assigned to the kid and the days they've to do along with the max rewards for each task. The 4th screen is about Task details which also has the option of a tutorial so that if a kid faces any problem, the app can show the tutorial on how to complete the task effectively. Since the kids are small for the reward screen, I've segregated it based on shop rewards and spin the wheel. If the kid is a toddler or pre-schooler, they can spin the wheel to claim their prizes. School-age children can shop for the reward. The last screen is about the Reminders as a notification to the kid and the parent. For kids, it is to complete the chore and reward the child for parents. The iteration process is still going on. I hope you liked the design and the idea behind it. Hello Everyone. This is my first submission for UX Crowwwn. So for coming up with a solution I first started with Research. I interviewed my Mom and did some secondary Research regarding the features that might be helpful for users After That I created a MoodBoard decided to use some 3D shapes and tried to add a little claymorphism effect into the Design so that kids find it little intresting to use Then I created some wireframes and then come up with the Design Explaining various screens: The upper 3 screens are for parents like they will view that screens Screen1 : This is the home Page of the App for Parents. In this screen Parents can first view Task completed by different children. Then there is calendar and a list of Task assigned to children today. Screen 2: Upon scrolling up the calendar section parents can view all the Task assigned by them to various children throughout the week Screen 3: In this Page Parent's can view stats of a Kid like The rewards they have unlocked, credit's they have earned etc. Screen 4: This is the Home Page when a kid uses this App. First he will be shown with his available credit then rewards he can earn so that he stays motivated to complete more task. Than a list of Task for Today Screen 5: Here the Kid can check various rewards he has earned and various rewards he can earn Screen 6: Here the Kid will submit that the task is completed by uploading a image and adding a note. After a long break, I decided to participate again in a challenge. But making those minimalistic designs is something which I find boring now. I wanted to try out something new. So, this is my first ever take on the neobrutalism design trend. I felt that since this design trend has a lot of high contrast colors in them and the design challenge was related to kids, I decided to try this out. Now talking about the design, the User can see his pending tasks or keep track of the tasks he has assigned to someone. Which in this scenario would be the kids. The User can also see his stats related to the tasks done in a specific time frame. I decided to add the element of "Tap to reveal the Winner" as it adds to the level of curiosity and excitement the User has, which will enable the User to use the app more. Users can earn Taskcoins based on the number of tasks he has done, see the balance, and then redeem prizes later. The way this would work is that the admin will buy Taskcoins, which would be added to his wallet, and later the kids will receive it directly from the admin's wallet and later use it to buy prizes instead of getting earning cash. If the kid doesn't have access to the app, the User can keep track of the task coins earned by everyone, and the value of each taskcoin would be determined by the admin, and can later reward them however he wants to. For this week's challenge I parted from a regular tasks manager app, and then I started wondering what kind of needs would a parent have about these tasks being (or not being) fulfilled. 1- Parents need a task management app to administrate types and loads of home-tasks / chores to avoid unbalancing. 2- Head-ups prior due date/time to avoid tasks not being completed (Notifications) 3- Rewards management, a way to easily access and fill what your children want as a reward for a set of tasks completed. Hello Everyone, for this week's challenge I have designed a Mobile UI about Chores and its updated activity. As we Know Chores helps children to gets some knowledge about household works which will help them in future. *So in above part of the design the starting four frames(Fr2-Fr5) are all about Parents and Kids Details and the Main Chores the Parent choses to assign their kids. * The lower four frames are (Fr6- Tells about completed, remaining and not completed chores), (Fr7- Its the Calendar area, says about dates ,the chores assigned in each day, also present activity what the kids are into or which chores they are into), (Fr8- It's all about type of chores you can add or give your kids to do the same day or next), (Fr-9- It's the exciting part because of Rewards section, here the kids by the parents permission are allowed to claim their rewards , which will motivate them) .. This week, I created an app with eight screens. 1) The user must first log in or register. 2) The user can assign chores depending on the available room categories, making it easier to keep track of the tasks in each area. 3) When the user selects an available room, the tasks and the child allocated to them, as well as the task's priority, is displayed.4) When the user selects the calendar, they may see a list of all the activities that have been assigned to each child. 5) The user can check the percentage of completed and pending chores for each kid, as well as their awards, under the Performance tab. 6) Everyone can interact with each other using the chat feature, making it more fun. 7) When the child visits his or her profile, they may see the activities that are pending and completed, as well as the points that have been assigned to each task.

Hi guys, here's is my design submission for challenge this week, there are 2 views of the home menu for admins and members, mother (admin) daughter (member), the whole design that I made shows the perspective of the admin, where the admin or mother can control and add tasks to be done by all family members to get a points. later it can be exchanged for gifts that have been added by the admin or parents, hope you guys like it, any feedbacks would be great to help me improve more!

After talking with the parents, I learned that the biggest problem was doing chores after kids are done and getting kids to do them without arguments and complaining. This solution gives kids motivation through desired rewards and parents get the proof of their work via photos and can approve of it. Kids can ask for help if needed, and parents can give comments to the done chores.

Hello everyone! It was my first entry, and it was a lot of fun. I began my design approach by identifying the user's pain points. I discovered that not everyone in the family might not have a smartphone, therefore this app had to be admin-only as well. When I had all of this sorted out, I made a simple design system and began the design process. I took inspiration from many task and note applications and designed the UI in a similar manner.

I did research by my own and finally derived that design for the chore management challenge, If any mistakes please let me know, I will resolve that issues in the upcoming challenges.

This week's challenge was more about challenging kids to learn about their responsibilities via daily chores. Thus, they get rewarded with stars or incentive-based on their work and performance. Parents can assign work to each child separately and view their performance compared to others. Parents can also keep track of the number of days their kids completed their chores and were rewarded.

Seeing this week's challenge, my first thought was to create an app for both the parent and the child to track their chore progress. After planning out features and drawing some quick sketches, this is my final design. With child-friendliness in mind, I kept the app's interface engaging yet straightforward. The tablet screens were designed for children and mobile screens for the parent.

Project info:- Well in this project I have made a dashboard where all the details of the person will be shown , After that we can go to the task where we can enlist new tasks and also delete those. After that we have two more sections the progress (where the progress of the user could be tracked) and also a profile section showing the user details . The main motive is to see any users profile via a code which needed to be confirmed by the user whose profile he/she needs to see.

I researched about kids daily chores and rewards they like then noted down all required elements for chore tracking app, and solve the problem.

This week challenge is every mom's dream tool. As this is daily usage app, I made it simple to use. I gone through research by finding what are the frustrations facing by mom with children's. In that i got some main points: 1. They expect their children's to do daily task within the time 2. They expect their children's to share the household works with them 3. They are struggling to bring punctuality in children's with this points i started work by adding task adding option, overview of present & next task, leaderboard with badge, reward page and hourly notification popup. With this options user can add tasks and peoples. every hour they will get notification for tracking their activities and user can upvote for the task completers. every month they can give reward for winners.

The problem was to design a solution for a parent who wanted to monitor tasks assigned to kids. My design is a simple one; Starting from the onboarding screens(3 screens) which explain briefly how the design produces a solution. After that is a Login/Signup screen which the user enters details to enable him/her to access the app. This following steps explains alot. The user is asked to further complete his/her profile by entering a name, an age and also get the chance to check whether or not he/she is an admin. An admin here describes the person who gives the tasks. So for example , The parent would check the circle as an admin. Moving foward, The user( admin ) is asked if there are any sub-accounts( those performing the tasks) he/she can add. So briefly, The parent logins into the account with specific details which can also be used by the sub-accounts.The admin uses the app to check if the tasks are being completed. The sub-accounts use the app after doing the task to confirm that they have completed the task. Once the user (main admin) checks the circle as an admin, the sub-accounts no longer see that feature in their apps. In short, an account can accomodate one admin, and numerous sub-accounts. Moving on, the tasks screen contains the tasks completed(cancelled througn) and yet to-do. Also contains a button which when clicked on opens a screen and allows a user to add more tasks. The admin rewards subaccounts points for completing tasks. The app also allows the admin to set limits until when a particular task can be done.
