Safe Dating Challenge

For this week I did some research on a dating app. I looked for inspiration with similar kinds of dating applications. Then I made one of my design. I have eleven screens in the app where one is for Login/ Sign Up. Then, the upper five screens are profile creating screens. First , User can add their personal details. In Second Screen User can select what to see and also select up to 3 Sexual Orientation of them, In third screen users can select their passion. In the fourth screen, User has to upload at least 1 photo, this action is mandatory for all user, user cannot skip this. In the last profile screen, Users has to upload selfie of them same as demo photo and system will compare the selfie and user’s uploaded photo. After finishing all processes of creating a profile correctly, users get a verified icon so that no one can create a fake id. In home screen notification, can apply filters, can see stories, can like or dislike profiles. In the next step, user will schedule a date in the calendar. Also share live tracking to user's family members or friends. Dating person will be notified on screen.

Hello all, here's my submission for this week's challenge. I am participating for the 2nd time in a challenge like this, it was not easy for me in such a limited time period. First of all I started to research & brainstorm. I started to look at other dating apps like what steps they took to improve security and tackle fake IDs. My app asked for user valid ID proofs and selfie, so that the verified users will get a recognition with a verified tick. Thus, by this method I solved the 1st problem statement. For the 2nd problem statement I assumed that there was a match and both of them have become good friends and are interested in entering their spaces. So, the app has the feature of booking a cafe at a particular date & time (I didn’t get into it in depth, as my problem statement was not this). So after booking a date, I added a feature of sharing live location on the exact date and time when the date was fixed. As this is not completed, I am still iterating on it. I got some insights that I should also have given an option of either sharing the date, time, venue & with whom a person is going or to share the live location or both. I will iterate on this later, as this is my design for now. I hope you like it and any feedback is much appreciated!

Hi there, Firstly I started the solution by brainstorming. Here we have two major issues. First, lack of verification of real people on dating apps. Second, some people don't feel safe while dating using mobile apps. After a couple of brainstorming sessions, I noted the possible solution and choose the best and most feasible solution. Next, I started designing the wireframe to get an overview of solution implementation. At last, I come up with this design which I uploaded here. So to solve the first problem( lack of reality on a dating app), After a couple of screens (1st intro screen, 2nd personal information, 3rd interests) on the 4th screen app will ask users to upload some kind of identification document to verify them. It will also show the advantage of verification so that people get motivated for it. This will help to increase the reality of people on the dating platform. To solve the second major problem (safety while dating using the mobile app), users have the option to send their dating plans to their friends or guardian. This feature will be optional and users have also control over which information to share with their friends/guardians. This solution is implemented on the last 8th screen. The same screen will pop up when the other partner accepts this date request. That is all about this week's challenge. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. In this week challenge I have made application on dating concept. Here is the seven-screen design. First screen – User can register with email id or mobile number. Second screen – you will get good looking screen for further process to find dating partner. Third screen – upload your real picture. Fourth screen – find your soulmate. Check his / her profile detail and also like button over there. Fifth screen – Set your dating location and check your and partner current location. Here you can also send your location tracking to your known person.

Hii, this is my very first challenge. I would appreciate your honest feedback. For this problem statement, I came up with some solutions, which were as follows; 1) The option of scanning where the user has to scan their face will automatically be verified with the pictures they've uploaded previously. From this, we can ensure the person's identity is real or not. 2) Or there is a second option where it requires the user to upload their KYC document any 1 to proceed. The user has the option to choose between the first and second one. 3) Also added some safety tips for dating to keep the user informed. 4) Also added a GPS option through which location can be shared with friends and family to keep track if the person decides to go on a date. This is my submission for this week's challenge: Maria is 26 and wants to find love. She thinks The Pond Dating App is a great option because it's an app where is mandatory to verify yourself and where you can share your location with trusted contacts when you're on a date. Plus, the account creation flow of this app is simple. First, the user provides his phone number and it gets verified through a code that is sent to him. Second, he chooses his trusted contacts and finally, he verifies himself through facial recognition. It's until that moment where the user can start building his profile by adding pictures and his personal bio to start swiping. How "share my location" works? When Maria is on a date, she can activate it by checking the option "share my location" in her profile. Also, she can add up to 5 trusted contacts and remove some of them if she considers it necessary.

Hello everyone! So, the first thing i have to do is to identify the problems we are solving. Hense, it will be clear why our application exists at all. I have identified the following main pains (problems) that need to be solved. 1) make sure the person is real 2) The ability to share information about your app`s partner - so that the user and his/her family feels safe. These are the things I decided to focus on. How did I solve these problems? - on the registration step the user, in addition to the ordinar information, may pass liveness detection (or any other recognition technologies). This stage can be skipped, but there will be no mark for these persons in the catalog. - on the screens you can see the function to share the user's card, as well as enable geolocation. How it works? You can share only ordinar inforcard about your date`s partner with your family if you wish. But if you do not feel safe, you can immediately switch on the broadcasting of the geolocation during a date. This function is specially made by a switch on \ switch of so that you can quickly share your geolocation. This is my first design competition, so I look forward to any feedback from you and i`m really glad to be here). Thank you all for attention!

This week I have worked on safe dating app. 1) User have to register in application. 2) They have upload a picture by the live camera. With that only real person can set their profile. 3) Add your family or friends contact details to whom you can share the dating details. 4) Find your matched partner by their personal details and photographs. 5) Go out with your dating partner and send notification to your friend or family member with location.

In this week's challenge, I’ve made a dating application, which allows you to check whether the other person is real or not. We are identifying the real account by analyzing their selfies and the profile pic. And you can allow your friends and family to know that currently whom you are hanging out with by posting stories to various social media from this application. So that you can go out safely. I want to build an honest community where users are real and verified. In order to use all the features on the app, users need to confirm their identity first using ID proof such as an ID card, driving license, or passport. After they are verified, they can browse available dates on the homepage. The chat feature only works after two users agree to match, this is to avoid any unwanted texts from strangers. Lastly, when two users are having a date, they can share their date information to anyone through messages or other social apps in case they want other people to know or to be aware of their current location.

I have tried to keep the design pretty simple and minimalistic. Please share your valuable feedback with me that would help me grow as a designer. Thank You.

I think the challenge was mainly on how to offer transparency where users could share who they are going out with while also maintaining a sense of privacy. So I come up with a feature that I call "Moment" where the user could update their activity, such as visiting a place or posting stories and tag other users they are having activity with. They can publish and share it on their social media, so family and friends can see whats they are up to while user still have flexibility and privacy with what scale they are willing to share their private life.

Logging in via social media and numbers is safe for other people to know and through share options, users can share profiles so that other family and friends know who the user is dating.

I viewed this challenge as a girl who wants to date somebody but at the same time, she wants to be safe. She wants to know the person, finds them on social media, checks out if they have some common friends, and then goes on a date with him. For safety concerns, I'd like to share my location and details of person with my closest (friends and family) so that they can track me in real time.

After considerable definition and research of the problem statement which is to make dating apps safe, I included the option to get verified by people that are in the locality, rather than a premium membership. This allows users to relate on a more personal and local level as well as find trustworthy partners. I ramped up the UI to make it modern and used blue hues to incorporate the value of trust and dependability

Hello, I've designed screens of a dating app. I aimed for simple yet elegant design. The first screen will be the company's logo page followed by home page and other screens. In the chat window page I've added an option for location sharing.

First of all, I started searching for the verification documents, then I got the verification icon which helped me with verifying people who are really real or fake people. This dating app will help people to connect with another gender and they will also be able to trust others in this app's features. This app allows users to first verify, then the verified icon comes after everyone's name. Please give you valuable feedback. Thank You :)

I start my research by looking at dating app people use nowadays. those app mostly provide profile, location, common match etc, but they are not safe. anyone can make their profile on those app which is a very risky thing. I collected all the information as much as possible and created a design for secure dating app. 1. my design have 8 screens, I tried to make screen move relatable to the information user will see on specific screen First screen, basic one, Main screen where person can make their profile by signing up or if they already have profile they can login. 2. second screen, user have to fill up their personal information and their gender interest, they can either choose one or both, and they can also input interested age group for their date. 3. third screen, biometric and verification screen, to make their profile they have to submit, one piece of id, which will be verified. this process can take upto 12 hours, once verification is completed, they will receive email to set up their profile. 4. fourth screen, if their ID is accepted, the person will be verified with green checkmark next to their profile image. once the profile is set up, they can start finding match, if they get a match, they can either first start with chat or they can directly set up date to known each other. 5. one person can click set up date with all info. detail and invitation will be send, the other person can accept or reject the invitation. 6. if accepted, invitation detail screen will pop up, you can set up the reminder, you can call the person and the mostly important, you can share that invitation detail with someone. 7.seventh screen is just the preview, if someone shared the link with someone. 8. they can track the person and know the exact location.

Safety is very important especially when you first meet up with strangers on dating sites. When I built this project I was thinking of how can a user know this person is real after some research I came up with the idea of getting verified before you registering, either way some users can decide to skip the verification part. But here's the nice part, contacts in the dating app will immediately know if a person is real or not - by not seeing the verified mark next to profile. To make sure loved ones are alerted of when users decide to meet up a safe code will get generated then you can choose who to send it to as a list of your contacts will open with only just a click of a button to send that code. they will be able to track you on the meet up location.

So hey everyone this my first design challenge. . I researched and found out that there have been many such dating scams. So a verification tick in one's profile ensures the human mind that this person is trustable. Also the color green symbolizes peace and confirmation.. So as stated in the challenge we have to inform our friends and family about the date. So the app requests permissions of location and contacts. I have added a permission for location as it may help to find your partner easily on the day of the date. I cannot skip these two permissions as one rule in ui ux design is to respect user data and privacy. After the profile is made, we can plan a date by searching for a particular person or using filters based on location ,hobbies etc. After the date has been successfully planned the app leads us to the contacts page where we can inform our friends and family. The app verifies the user based on their email id and mobile number registered. It also allows the user to share their location and the profile of their date via Messenger and Whatsapp.

I started off by separating the prompt into two categories: 1) verification and 2) Notifying friends/family. Within each category, I brainstormed reasons why individuals would desire these two features, seeking to empathize with the user. Then, I came up with different approaches and solutions to addressing each feature. I came to realize that there is already a verification feature by Tinder and I wanted to focus more of my time on notifying friends/family. One solution I came up with was being able to share an individual's location as well as their date's profile info with a trusted contact. I felt like since this feature should be emphasized, I created a "Dates" navigation, allowing users to track their past, upcoming, and live dates.

Dating apps have been around for a while, there is not much to be changed about their behavior and functionality. But what will most probably change in the future is how receptive and open the public is to online dating. People nowadays are more confident and open about their daily lives, so implementing face scan technology and integrating cross-app functions (like Google Calendar Sync and Social Media Sharing) would be enhancing. In this design, users are able to verify their identity and, for an extra layer of protection, share their date information as well as their live location. I included a quick logo design to match the theme of the challenge.
