I like this Ui but it lacks some Ux tho. Let me begin with: how am I going to add the notes on the right side? The searchbar what should it search in here? Maybe it could be viewable as a book so I can have a good reference on how many pages I am currently using. I like the Chapter navigation, tho it wouldn't be an "add page" button I guess? So it is rather confusing, unless this book is 6 pages, 1 page per chapter? Would I as a writer be able to change the font? How about font size? Why would I need a hyper linked text if this is a book? I am able to see this online but not printed. Would I be able to close petition/comments or even answer back if needed? Will the comment section show me the full comments on the whole chapter? What will the options on the search input show me? In terms of Ui, I can barely distinguish between sections, contrast is too low, so I hope that's on purpose, and there seems to be an overlayed frame (over the document) where the comment content is positioned. The comment pins over the document I feel it could be better with the Avatar instead of the initial, also these don't seem to fit with the design, too pointy on the pin (hard edge) I would have loved seeing the homepage with the authors book files maybe. Hi Ydo, First you do great work with the colors and background, the containers look good and the typography also. However, as a user I thought your home screen is too crowded, Story and Leaderboard Challenge are to close each other. Suggestion: Story will display on top of the page, above the blue card.

The size of the Spash screen with other screens is not parallel, but it's not a problem, just the display. Maybe in the home section, specifically the card section, maybe some kind of element can be given so that it doesn't look empty. So far the UI is good and simple to use

beautiful, I like bright colors, but the writing is still legible suggestion : 1) add a screen to the category process 2) the color on the category icon is made the same as the writing and home icons (active icon) reason : 1) so that it is thought that when pressing the category icon it will be directed to Benny's post. 2) to make the hierarchy look more the same

Hey Sailey, Thanks for such a detailed feedback. that's a pretty good point you made on the final cost part. I definitely could've done a bit more exploration to fix the hierarchy. I also agree on the selling price part, I was actually a bit confused there on what would be the viable option but looking at it now, a different flow for the selling portion would've been a better approach. And Gucci of designs does sound pretty cool!

Hey Indranil! I think you have done an excellent job in this week's challenge. Your work looks super clean and fresh. I like the type of colors which you have used in the screens. Talking about the experience, I like that I can see how many steps I will have to go through until I am finished completing the task, this will help in reducing user drop offs. I like that you have emphasised on the final cost of the printing by making it stand out from all the details. But If it were me, I would have not broken the visual hierarchy but also tried to highlight the pricing by changing the color of the numbers or adding a translucent bar below it or something like that. I also didn't follow you on the part where you have to enter the selling price for which you would be selling. I mean, I understand that the challenge requires you to get your model printed and also get it listed for selling, but shouldn't it be 2 different flows. so you can add in more details for listing the product which would also break the work user has to do into 2 parts so it gets less annoying. Everything else, looks good, easy to interpret. Also, I would rate this as the "Gucci of Design" :).

My thoughts and your thoughts are similar to one another(even color palettes) I am new to ui field. so my submission look unpolished but your ui is best but my ux is good since i was able to think like so many ui/ux people on this platform Am happy i found this platform which give me confidence to go further in this ui/ux field My suggestion for improving the design: if you added a page to select which type of 3d printing the seller wants since there are options Stereolithography (SLA) Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) Digital Light Process (DLP) Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) PolyJet. Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) Electron Beam Melting (EBM) Since using the right printer according to budget and quality of toy will increase it will help him get more sells

Now let's talk about your doubts; the first thing I want to clarify that I understood from the given challenge is that we don't need to provide a feature in which Designers can do 3D Designing. The primary focus was to get 3D printings of the 3D models and sell them to customers. Design is really minimalistic but I don't seen to get the 3-D designing part or platform where user can create 3-D designs.

And yea the font size does look a bit small in some places like the food and drink section and the navigation. thanks again for the feedback, it's really helpful

Hey Indranil, hope you’re well! I feel your design perfectly meets the design challenge this week. The home page instantly tells me where I am, how long till my next flight and how I can spend my time in the airport. No unnecessary steps, perfect! The bright tabs separate each POI nicely however these colours are not utilised in the other pages. If the map showed me colour-specific dots, I would instantly recognise which locations were Gates, Charging points etc. Or as Hrithik mentioned, to have monochromatic tabs with a coloured logo only. The food & drink section has limited information on the home page, but as you commented, another page with detailed information could be added. The option to switch between AR and 2D map is super helpful and gives a clear route to nearest POIs and gate. Overall I think your design is consistent and great use of grids and whitespace. Only other thing I would suggest is to increase the size of the small text slightly so it is more accessible. Well done and best of luck with the competition. Look forward to seeing more 👌

Hey Hrithik, thank you for such a detailed feedback. I do agree on your first point, I do feel I overdid the colours a bit. Making them a bit subtle would've been a lot better. For the second point, the reason I didn't put more info is because these are famous brands that almost everyone who goes to an airport would know and another page could also be added which shows detailed menu of the shops when users's tap on the card.

Hey Indranil! Your work looks absolutely gorgeous🥵😍. I liked that you can switch modes in airport map, so you can get a bigger picture of what's around along with the option of searching for a particular place. On the 1st screen, I think there is a lot of colors happening which is making me get confused what I am actually looking for. I think you can make the 4 color buttons a bit subtle. I think the different colored logos would do the differentiability that you expected it to do! Also, in food and drinks, I would love to see a bit more information on the cards so that I can decide if I am going to even consider that place or not! And I think instead of "starting at " you can put "a meal of 1 costs ". Everything else looks top notch! Good Luck :))

Overall Design is great but there is something you can improve on the first screen you have added a search bar for entering your airport I you can remove that because the app will automatically fetch on which airport he/she is and you can also add his/her tickets so he/she can show if this is any problem user lost his tickets so can show on mobile, one most important this is not clear on this app from which terminal user will get the next flight, the second screen is good if we talk about only UX but you can improve UI on that you can also add some boundaries give some alert that doesn't go far form this area otherwise it's hard to get back on the terminal on time talking about the third screen is nice but in the bottom instead of on Popular Search you can add the same reference like Pizza Hut, Domino's because if user click on the Mcdonalds it means the user is looking for food so the show is the same reference like food restaurant talking about the fourth screen is most important you have don the great job adding AR so users can go and find anything thing easily without asking anyone else these are the thing I think you can improve but overall design is good simple to use and user-friendly Thank You !

Hi Aman, well done on this weeks challenge, I feel you have created a great solution to the problem with an easy-to-use interface. Your colour palette works well together and is consistent throughout the design. The onboarding screen quickly allows the user to input their connecting airport without the fuss of needing to know their flight detail, this can be a huge benefit if the user has been on a long journey and their flight details are tucked away in a bag or lost in their emails. From the home page, users can search their desired location or quickly access lists based on the challenge’s 3 user problems - the location of their gate, where to get food and the toilet. I like that there is a Popular Search list, as the user might be unsure of what restaurants are available to them in a foreign airport. A suggestion would be to have the popular searches as a carousel instead of a list - as it could become repetitive scrolling past popular terminals & POIs to find your terminal that’s at the bottom of the list. I think there is potential here to add the distance at a glance so the user doesn’t need to open a POI to see how far away it is. You could also add an overview map, so the user can see where POIs are around them before navigating to them. On the details page, the carousel provides an opportunity to show off the restaurant interior and menu items. The rating is good addition, as the user will want to be reassured of how well the service is. Detailing the estimated time and distance is another bonus to help choose somewhere convenient to eat. For me personally, I have difficulty with the text size in some places, such as the ‘minutes’ / ‘m’ and the category names underneath the POIs on the previous page. If this was a size or 2 bigger, it would be a huge benefit to visually impaired users. From here the user can access directions that highlights POIs and the route through their camera, this prevents the user getting lost or confused by a 2D flat-lay map, a clever idea! Looks really great, especially the AR idea. However, I agree with Saily on the location of the back button. Also, you have said that GPS location permissions haven't been given to the app, then how will the app know our current location and determine the distance to it, without first knowing our surroundings (i.e. in the 3rd screen). Nevertheless, looks amazing.

Thanks @Saily Natekar for giving such a great insight on my submission. Okay to answer that adding similar places rather than popular places is a great suggestion. My thinking behind it was that for the first timers popular search could give them a idea of most visited places and that's also the reason I have put the places-screen as screen after inputting airport. So for the auto detection of the airport, it would be done when someone gives access to GPS, though I haven't a dedicated screen for it but will definitely add it in prototype. Putting back on right side, According to me is wrong but this thought clicked me after reading your comment 😅. Thanks again✌️✌️

Hey Aman. Overall it's a really good design with a great thought process! I liked that we can navigate to a desired location using AR and brownie points on this that you get signs that there are other POIs too that we might be interested in going to. I liked that you can even see the total rating of a particular place as well. I can also see that users can find Popular Searches on the same screen as well, which I think may not be suited for that screen. Instead, I would like to see similar places to it because now you know that I might be interested in having some food. Makes sense? I am also wondering if the screen with the search box is the very 1st screen after you enter your airport? If yes, how will I get to know what places exist inside the airport for me to discover them? So, you can improve on that part too. Coming to the first screen, does it also auto detect what airport I am currently at to reduce friction in the process? I can also see that you have put back navigation on the right side of the screen which I feel would limit the familiarity for a user. Visually, you have done a great job, looks fresh. But I think you can improve a bit on the colours part too. Good Luck for this competition.
