Hey Lucky, You have used what's an app to share links for the wishlist, if the person has to use another social media app like whats app., or messenger, then what's the use of the app, anybody can share links to items using any other eCommerce app know their suggestion on whats app itself. One can also chat and see what are the suggestion of relatives so the app no longer remains significant.

Firstly, you are clearly showing off budget to recipient, don't you think, its like flaunting and bragging, like how much you spent on them. 2.The flow is very much complex and stretched in terms of selecting gift options, when the amount goes out of budget, the recipient gets red button indicating of budget and their wishes don't fit in the sender's budget, Don't you feel like this is upsetting the recipient's, and hurting their sentiments? don't you feel like that? You should have well thought before incorporating such feature. 3.Rather you could have added an count/ note/ or option where in recipient can only select gifts in particular count, after all sender can manage to send gifts options that are only in his/ her budget. 4.Add to cart button should not be visible to sender unless recipient selects any option, if you add on cart to every item even if not sent to recipient, what's the difference between ecommerce app and this gift app. 5. On 4the slide, there on click to Wishlist I can see a dialog, with dropdown, field you have created 2 Categories - one main and one sub, like Christmas by occasion and under that all recipient's, Keep it simple to one Category its creating unnecessary hierarchy. 6. On home screen you have added location as a title, after that your have given a field for adding address on "Add a gift list" If you already know that gift can be sent at different address's meaning.. recipient's address, then why have you specifically mention on the home title. sender address can be different that recipient's one, 7. You could have added how the flow is inter linked, design should be self explanatory to the user, here I have to read each comment and try to understand what goes all over,.

Hi Hasan, When I have to send more than one gift to the sender how should I do that, as in your design I can't see that 1. When I open each item in detail mode I can just see the "add cart button" I mean how can you directly add a gift to the cart unless it's selected by someone? So that can be added to the wishlist, 2. A section with green background is seen above add to cart which says share your list and gift by choice, what does that mean? how can one share your list from the product detail view? 3. Also, green color is not consistently used for CTA's. 4. I am not able to trace the interaction flow for how one can send or receive multiple gift options.

Hi @jeyasampath over all you have done good Job, but I have concern for certain things for you design though, 1.You have named app as secrets santa, there is nothing secret though as you already revealing your wishes. But yes your app gives me a vibe of gift app, like not a general ecommerce app. 2.Fill your bag the concept is good, but the count of gifts may not be fixed, its applicable to limited count, the red text - view full bag below subtotal field, looks error like text to me, may be can change the text color of it. 3.Filter below that field the Icon there is faded and not visible, 4.I wonder how user is going to navigate screens since there is no navigation added in your design. 5.There should be a way to send and receive multiple gift options for both sender and receiver's end from where one can choose their favorite wished item, as this is the main aim of the problem statement, which is still unresolved in your solution. 6.You have not added add to Wishlist icon on you gift items so that one can add to particular Wishlist Category. 7. Your bag has gift list which is not segregated as per option chosen by recipient. 8. Also UI can be more improved in terms of font size and their spacings, consistent hierarchy can be maintained. Thanks @k_rajarajan for your feedback. I see the gaps you have highlighted and will try to incorporate those in the upcoming designs. However, for the Wishlist - I have added an option at the bottom navigation bar to access it. A heart is available on the product page to add a particular item to the wishlist. - the search bar was repeated as I wanted the user to be able to easily search for any product throughout the platform. And I really appreciated your suggestion to display a wishlist screen as it would an essential element for a holiday shopping app. Thanks again!

Hi there Vani!! -It seems that you have tried to design screens in hurry, because there many issues which I want to bring upon -There are spacing issues like - top header for screens, profile and cart to closely spaced, The app mostly looks like an ecommerce app, there is no way one can assign multiple gift option to recipient. -There is no Wishlist where in one can see the segregation of the gifts as per recipient. You have to work on text size and consistency for your entire layout, text is very light and thin -What if you could have give an way where in one can add the items to the Wishlist, this would really add great value to user -I have noticed that the add button size is very small not sufficiently big to click. -There are many repetitive elements in the design like "search.bar" -In the dialogue, why the tag "category" is repeated so many times the information is repetitive all over again -The screen where you have added "White party set", why the search and profile and cart is repeated there and add to cart repeated again ant the bottom. "add to -----Wishlist" can be a appropriate label rather "add to cart". Save for later is not adding any meaning there. - How can you add items to Wishlist as per recipient there is no way provided for that? -What if I have to select multiple gifts and add them to Wishlist? that also you need to highlight somewhere. One whole there are many gaps and solution seems incomplete.

Hey SaraswathyG, Visually you really have to work on UI,, Well the color palette and entire scheme are really dull I would rather recommend you go for light shades. The text over CTA has to be clearly visible. I would recommend you add a way where in sender can select multiple gifts to add to the wishlist and send them to friends and family this would really add up to the user's goal and needs The next button at the bottom doesn't look appropriate. What if I have multiple senders in my wishlist and the related flow can be also explained?

Packia, I would like to assist you with feedback and few suggestions. - Gift Groups - dialog Gift by recipient and gift by relationship is same, gift by occasion and festival doesn't make any difference so these can me eliminated. -The ratings and currency on the gift are not visible very small may be you can slightly increase and experiment. -You really have to work on spacing and font style there are very light and are not clearly visible, especial over the black overlay added over images. -Typography could have been better. You need to consistently maintain spacing between images and rest components, Share on Wishlist screen is not properly aligned, same as art icons. -I would recommend you to add a way where in one can select option from the given Wishlist. -It would add a great to user if you segregate each options with Wishlist for recipient. - Image overlay you have added on gift id very black you can reduce it even lighter. shadow on circular cart is very dull please remove that. -The greyish text over black overlaid images for rating is not visible, So over all I recommend you to work text colors. Some are too bold, while some are very light and small to read. -Also the pink gradient can be solid color rather gradient, its very dark. There is not way one can send and receive multiple gift to recipient. so your problem still remain unresolved or not completed

My comment was meant for those people whom I have tagged @ennarapu @akashramu @bhanu777 @chandru @harshitha_123 , its good to support favorite contestant and friends, but if they have certain design flaws then they should highlight that rather supporting, if they say this is properly spaced, like but this layout already has spacing issues - if you clearly see *navigation bug like-see the tech gift screen and actual home screen, the both have same navigation link, so how can one get to home, if they want to? *See second screen - You have added "Add to cart button" adding in cart if it is done by recipient as per your solution then why on "tech gift screen" you added it? *also the solution is not fulfilling to the core problem , I have mention this in my comment if you notice *3rd screen "notification" has checkout, well.. checkout is something comes when one fulfills the "cart list", that can come under cart. so in terms of layout, navigation, component placements, and entire flow has issues, thats what I have mention in my comment Supporting is good but this creates misbeliefs for others especially new emerging designers that the solution is correct when its not. and I have also mention my comment where I found this solution incorrect and not to take this personally, you have done your job @akshay_patel and my message to @crowwwn was request and suggestion.

You are actually misutilising the platform. @crowwwn Need some professionals from your side to provide feedback lot of them are just misusing these feedback and comment section to promote wrong solution. New and emerging designers may get distracted and get wrong beliefs with such wrong promotion. Please consider this as a request.

But if you you consider entire solution, let me suggest you some points design has many red flags - 1- navigation bar home icons see the spacing between labels and icons, all aicons are not aligned properly, 2- How you get tech gifts on home screen the flow is very incorrect. how should I get back to home from tech gift. This is so invalid. 3- If you consider the problem statement, your solution is not even resolving basic functionality. 4. last screen says pick the gift how will pick it?, and why the button name is checkout, it should be pick. @ennarapu @akashramu @bhanu777 @chandru @harshitha_123 If you are supporting this solution with "minimal clean design" as comment, what impact this will create for viewers, be neutral and appreciate what is good. Stop promoting wrong and invalid solutions!

Your Design is So Impressive and especially that Brand Indicator is Awesome... But In the First Image, That Banner's height looks bit high and that Cart icon's size is so odd.. If you use Minimal Colours, that'll looks like a signature colors of the app..

Hello, the UI and layout looks very clean and user friendly. It looks like there are some spacing issues with the menu navigation bar at the bottom as some icons are not all aligned or the text is not the same distance away from the icon as the other versions. In terms of the solution, I am curious to why you have a "Check out" button on the screen where the family member or friend selects a gift? I assume they do not pay for their own gift so I am not sure if there should be a checkout option. Lastly, what happens if they do not like any of the gifts? Is there a way to send a note, click on an option saying none, or provide a suggestion?

Hey Nisha, I would like to give you a few suggestions: 1. How are the products added to the wishlist? It would have been better if you would had shown that flow. 2. What will be the details that will be required to create a new wishlist? How are you defining "arrives before Christmas", holiday as be of many types. You could show arriving date along with the end date for wishlist. 3. How will this list be visible on the the gift receiver's side and how will they select present that they want the sender to buy? Once selected by receiver how will the sender understand what did they choose? Even that flow is missing UI wise: 1. Top navigation bar- Try to put logo vertically in center of the grey patch. Align text in center with the icon. 2. Share can be just an icon like delete instead of button. Two primary buttons in same line looks like a lot of information. 3. There is a lot of space on the left and right side of the wishlist box. That space can be utilised to add "cart" feature. Good efforts! All the best.

Hello, I really like how you color coded the "Arrives before Christmas" and the "Arrives after Christmas" as it helps me clearly see which gifts I would not be able to purchase in time for the holidays. I also do like how you have tried to make the design responsive. It seems that you utilize a hamburger menu on the top left corner or the mobile device. However, there are other buttons on the top right corner. I wonder if all these buttons should be combined into the hamburger menu.

Hey Marco, The UI looks really neat and clean, but there are a few points that you can still improvise upon. I would like to give you a few suggestions: 1. You have interpreted this holiday shopping challenge as just Christmas challenge instead of holiday challenge in general. (Profile icon, snow man in the background etc). If you do something like this you need to design a lot of customised screens as per holiday and the user can pick a theme for different occasions. I do not see any screen where users can select customisation options. 2. How are products chosen can be added to different present receiver's list? How do you add new present receiver? 3. On the screen where user's can pick the gift, try to increase the line height of "here are gift...." text looks it is sticking too close to each other. There is no way to see the details of the products to help user clearly take a decision to choose a gift. 4. On the "welcome back John Frinz" screen. I see a lot of card with different users and banners created on the basis of products added to the list. It is very difficult to create such banner because number of products in list can vary, products can have multiple colors and products might also have background it will be difficult to choose for the app to choose a background color automatically. When you design something like these try to even think from development perspective. 5. On the "Luke has picked..." screen it would have been better if you had also shown how can you buy the products and how do you set up delivery for the receiver of the gift. Try to design more screens to get a better clarity on the user flow that will give a complete solution to the challenge. Good work! All the best.

@anna211 Thanks for your feedback! The idea in the second screen is to give even a little more slowness and consequently importance to the choice process. You're not choosing whether you want small fries or large fries, you're choosing which gift to get from your friend. The user experience is what you make users feel not in how many taps they take an action. Hope this makes sense, let me know :)

The design looks very clean and I like the interactive layout! I like how simple and intuitive it looks. The "3 presents" or the "WAIT" texts do seem very light though and might not be accessibility friendly. In terms of user experience on the second screen, as a user I would probably want to see all the gifts at once to compare them side by side to help make a decision faster.

Hey Anna, I think you have not addressed the challenge completely. You were not just supposed to organise gifts for different family member but also create an ability to share the multiple gifting options with gift receivers so that they can pick what they like the best and you can buy it for them. There could also be a way to send the gifts directly to gift receiver's place instead of ordering all the products together to the gift sender's place. At a few places I see text readability issues due to it's font size. 1. On the home screen, "mugs", "toys" etc font size is too low. 2. On product details screen. The product description text size is too low. On the cart screen, Try to increase space between Product image and image name text. That will give it a much cleaner look.

Hey Anna, It would add great value for the user If you could have added a way where in sender can add gift items to a wishlist and send them to the near and dear ones, and if the receiver has to choose options sent by the sender. This would really help to add in terms of the entire goal of the task.

Hey Hana, I would like to give you a few suggestions: I think there are few key features of the brief that you have missed: 1. Creating a list of products for different family members on the gift sender's side. 2. There is no away the person who is choosing the gifts get to see multiple options. Sharing a gift list option is missing to the gift receiver is missing. 3. Why is there a "choose gift you would like to give" option at the top of screen? This option should be given when they are adding gift to the cart. 4. Instead of "gift to a friend" on screen 2 it should actual say "add to cart for a friend". Instead of buying it directly. It would have been better if you would have designed more screen on both the gift sender and receiver's side. UI wise: 1. Top navigation bar is missing on home screen 2. In categories all the filter options look selected because you have used green colour for showing selected elements (Give and search) 3. You can avoid using arrow in the most popular cards because the card itself looks clickable due to shadow. Shadow's spread radius around the card can be increased as it is hard to differentiate the card from background on the upper edge. 4. Avoid using orange colour in bottom navigation bar's background as the usage of primary colour is diverting the focus from icon to background. 5. Instead of using search icon in bottom navigation bar using home icon would be a better option because search is just a part of home screen. 6. Space between "beats solo3..." and review can be slightly reduced.

Great job, the layout looks very clean! I like the icons used on the menu navigation bar because it makes it clear what each button does/leads to. However, the color scheme of it makes it the focal point of the screen where I think the focal point should be the gift options itself. In terms of accessibility, the second screen with the light weighted text ("Gift to a friend" and "Get for myself") is a bit hard to read.

Hey Manish, The color scheme is unique and it's pretty good. I would like to steal it in for future UX Challenges ;) - in the third screen there are a total of six suggestions under the animated mug,s reduce this number so you will have enough space. right now the font size is too and it's difficult to read any information. - Also in the second screen in every suggestion/product, there is a button at the right side of the corner. if it's an add-to-cart button or any actionable task this should be bigger and highlighted more clearly alongside with price. price is the primary information that users look at. - The UX challenge remains unsolved as there is no option to choose multiple gifts. Keep it up :)

Overall, I think you have some really great concepts and ideas going on in this design. I liked how you have the "Discover" and "Popular" feature for people who are not sure what to get as gifts and are able to get inspired by these options. Additionally, the "Related" gifts under each item is great and reminds me of what other e-commerce shops do. I challenge you to think more outside the box about how you can differentiate your design from existing competition like Amazon or Etsy. In terms of accessibility, the color choice is has great contrast and can easily be read. However, some of the smaller text used as details under each item are very small and are harder to read.
